COMMUNITY WORK AND VOLUNTEERING

Our family-owned firm has a long history of supporting its local community. Indeed, back in the 19th century Stephen Austin III helped establish the Haileybury College on the site of the former East India College. Its ethos then, which remains today, was helping others.

OUR COMMITMENT

However, our commitment now is not just to our local community, but also to making a positive social contribution to the wider, global community.

In the recent past we have:

Donated printing presses and stitching lines to overseas customers.

Supported international education bursaries, girl education and empowerment, school feeding programmes and community health education.

Offered capacity building sessions to international customers to improve their skills and experience, enabling their communities to be more self-sufficient.

Contributed to workshops overseas to train both students and mature adults in printmaking.

Undertaken fundraising activities like bake sales and marathons to raise funds for various local and international charities.

Donated leftover paper from print runs to local schools/museums and to the Curwen Print Study Centre, to whom we’ve also given printing presses and plates.
