We are delighted to announce that Adrian Mellor has joined Stephen Austin as Strategy Director.
Adrian is a career long educationalist committed to improving content, processes, systems and outcomes for educators and their students. In the 1990’s he worked across northern Europe in higher education and professional markets, most of which were in the early stages of implementing new digital solutions. His career continued to develop internationally in Europe, Africa and the Middle East when he moved into English language learning and schools’ markets, before he progressed to global leadership roles, with a particular focus on Asia.
Adrian came to Stephen Austin from Oxford University Press, where he held the post of Managing Director of their Asia Education business, which he grew by 60% during his tenure.
He joined the Stephen Austin Group as CEO of GradeMaker and managed the transition of that business to AQA ownership. He is now Strategy Director for Stephen Austin responsible for the long-term development of the business. Adrian has worked closely with a range of awarding organisations, universities and providers of professional certification in the UK and in international markets. He understands deeply the need for quality, security and efficiency in high value publishing and assessment markets.
